BEFORE YOU GET IN TOUCH
A few useful answers.
Can I work with Legal Route virtually?
Virtual appointments are available for suitable Ontario matters. We will explain the identification, document delivery, signing and attendance requirements that apply to your situation.
Is there a consultation fee?
We confirm any applicable consultation fee before you book. Before retaining us, ask whether your matter can be quoted on a fixed-fee basis or will be billed by time, what work is included, and which taxes, disbursements or other charges may apply. The proposed scope and fee arrangements are explained in writing before you proceed.
What should I include in my first inquiry?
Provide your contact details, a short description of the issue and any known deadline. Please wait for our intake instructions before sending detailed confidential documents.
Does an inquiry mean you are acting for me?
No. Sending an inquiry does not establish a lawyer-client relationship or confirm that we can meet a deadline. We must confirm whether we can accept your matter and agree on the scope of the work.
